Roland Garros


Roland Garros ; also called French Open tennis championships ; is one of four Grand Slam-tournaments and is held every year at the end of may or in the beginning of June. Roland Garros was held for the first time in 1891 but was called then the ' Les Internationaux de France de Roland Garros '. Only French tennis players got involved in tennis tournament. Roland Garros tennis tournament held from the start of Roland Garros Stadium and it is of course from there as the tournament got its name. Each year, many traveling fans of tennis who have got hold of Roland Garros tickets for Paris in order to experience this amazing tournament! Many great tennis players have already shown their tricks on the Roland Garros clay courts, including Björn Borg, Ivan Lendl, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Mats Wilander.

France's Superbike Champion Ship is this year's coolest roadracing event and held it in October month, and you should definitely be in place if you like motor racing, and especially fast motorcycles! The contest is in progress at the beginning of October month.

The Tour de France

This magnificent cycling event runs during July and starts in Rotterdam in Belgium and ends 20 stages later in Paris.
